PRLog (Press Release)– Apr 08, 2011– The Festival is now in its ninth year and attracts tango devotees from around the world. The event will include 30 international tango artists, 40 tango performances rc helicopter and car market place , tango classes, tango DJs, Milonga, and nightly dance shows each evening of the festival.
The event will be based in and around the Saschall Theatre with its two tango dance floors, 2,500 square footage of dance space, dance tuition and partner search facility. The Festival provides international DJs from all over the world including Dublin auto part , Argentina and France There will corsa be dance classes, up to 20 assistant helpers, and live tango orchestras. The neighbouring Teatro Affrattellamento will be hosting smaller events.
This year's special guests will be tango dancers Natalia Lavandeira & Roberto Reis.
For the first time a new category has been introduced. Amateur groups can now choreograph their own tango routines on the stage prior to the Gran Gala event.
Many of the dancers and attendees will be staying in Florence hotels (http://directrooms.com/italy/hotels/florence-hotels/pric ...) in order to be close to the action throughout the festival. Florence is easily navigable on foot. The Firenze Tango Festival coincides with warmer spring weather and manages to avoid the busier tourist months. However, it is advisable to book accommodation in advance.
