PRLog (Press Relea chrysler se) - Aug 15, 2011 - Collingdale, PA (August 15, 2011) – Stouch Lighting released today that the borough of Collingdale, Delaware County, PA, has awarded them to provide and install new LED and Optalume lighting fixtures. Stouch Lighting will be retrofitting existing fixtures to a more energy-efficient source throughout their municipal buildings, in Collingdale. The buildings include the police station, library, school and gym. The new LED and Optalume light fixtures will not only enhance the quality of light, but create more than 50% energy savings.
Funding was possible for Collingdale through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block gra cadillac nt. (EECBG) This was awarded to the county through the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Stouch Lighting will be replacing the lights in the gym to new, high quality LED light fixtures. Stouch Lighting will also be replacing interior lighting in the other municipal buildings with Optalume technology. Optalume is a highly reflective plastic substrate which retrofits a 4 lamp T-12 fixture to an energy efficient 2 lamp T-8 fixture without sacrificing the lighting quality. The Optalume fixtures will greatly improve the lighting in the buildings, which will provide a brighter, safer, more energy efficiency environment.
