Rockford, IL, May 26, 2011:  Rock Valley College nearing completion in August 2011 has finished installation of a 1.2kW Photovoltaic (PV) Integrated Curtain Wall located at the South and South East corner of the 106,000 Math and Science Center Building.  The 50% Visibly Transmitting Curtain Wall will harvest needed light into the second floor Greenhouse while producing electricity from the sun.  Atlantis Energy Systems, Inc designed and supplied the outer glass layer of the integrated unit with 6"x 6" Polycrystalline silicon or multi-crystal Si cells in 10 different glass sizes and circuited layouts laminated with a advanced, long-life encapsulate or Hermetically sealed to withstand entrance of environmental contaminants.  In ad acura dition to the before mentio auto part ned, Atlantis Energy Systems, Inc. team of engineers and architects provided 1086274749  added customer support services such as specifications, third party commissioning recommendations, bid documentation and design assistance.
